Murphy's laugh, a well designed resource strategy event, lets you answer these questions by putting yourself in the shoes of a project manager. It tests your ability to take strategic decisions in tough situations, to allocate constrained resources and to manage operations to meet high quality deliverables.

Round 1

1. 2 back-to-back online quizzes (Total duration : 40 mins) . Each quiz will have 10 questions. The quizzes will be based on systems and technology.
2. For quiz 1 20 mins will be given. After that quiz 2 will start immediately irrespective of the fact whether a team has finished attempting all quiz 1 questions.
3. If a team finishes quiz 1 early (i.e. less than 20 mins) , they can use the remaining time in next quiz. For e.g. If a team finishes quiz1 in 15 mins. They will get 25 mins for completing quiz 2.
4. Thus, Quiz2 will have a duration of atleast 20 mins [ plus the time saved in quiz 1 (if any) ]
5. An individual can be part of only one team
6. There is no limit to the number of contestants that can participate from a particular institute
7. The Organizing team reserves the right to modify the terms and dates of the event
8. The decision of the judges would be final and binding

Round 2:

• All time shortlisted from round 1 will have to report on campus during Intaglio 2012.
• Team Size: 6 Persons. Organizers will merge three teams from round1 through a lottery process. Organizers decision will be binding.
